Every year, NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS) holds the Humanitarian Awards to acknowledge and thank those who have made an exceptional positive contribution towards refugee issues in NSW. For more than a decade, the Humanitarian Awards have honoured community leaders, youth workers, lawyers, journalists, teachers and many more – each of them making an incredible contribution to improving the lives of refugees.

Recently Blue Peony has embarked on a new project of relocating some displaced families of Ukraine to regional areas in Australia.
We believe this project will benefit the displaced people of Ukraine, the general community and will boost the economy of the regional areas and subsequently our country.
Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take donations from local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help us connect with donors and with people in need.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help vulnerable members of our community by providing services and connecting them with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways!
