We have a simple mission: We unite communities in assisting those in need, regardless of nationality, language, race, social status, beliefs or religion.
We focus on making the maximum positive impact to our community.
The Blue Peony Foundation was established to welcome and support Ukrainians who have fled their country following the Russian military invasion in February 2022. Four strangers from diverse cultural backgrounds met on social media and were most fortunate to be given space to operate a donations centre from the Ukrainian Youth Centre in Lidcombe. Initially this project was a first step to help the displaced people of Ukraine arriving in Australia. We are very proud of what we achieved in this short period of time, the support we have been getting and the relationships we formed with people.
Recently we have moved to our new home at 433 Parramatta Road, Leichhardt NSW.
Blue Peony Foundation has been awarded the Refugee Supporter award from 2022 NSW Humanitarian Awards. Read more..
